Tanya Shannon, Chicago Mother of Four, Missing Since Sunday

Tanya Shannon, a Chicago mother of four children, disappeared on Sunday night after her car crashed, which left her husband dead, according to ABC News.

A large-scale manhunt is being conducted to find Shannon after authorities found the wreck on the side of the road. Her husband was found dead in the driver’s seat.
"She and her husband were at a company Christmas party Saturday night. They left the party heading to a family's house and on the way had a traffic-related accident in which Mr. Shannon was killed," LaSalle County Sheriff Tom Templeton told press, according to ABC News. "From the evidence that we've seen, Shannon was able to get out of the vehicle and go up to the roadway."

They found footprints in the snow but authorities say they still have no clue where went.

Her family said Tanya and her husband, Dale Shannon, appeared to be in good tidings as they left the party.

"It's very mysterious what might have happened to Tanya," Dale Shannon's sister Donna Baker told the Chicago Tribune. "We checked the area hospitals and nothing, so we don't know if someone picked her up and took her somewhere. We just don't know."

Police say that she is white, 5 feet 2 inches tall, and weighs around 125 pounds. She has green eyes, shoulder-length strawberry blond hair, and wears glasses, according to the Tribune.
